Expertise in Both Office & Field

With the ever-increasing accuracy requirements, High-Consequence Area (HCA) changes, and overall “Mega Rule” regulations, Gulf has the expertise both in the office and field to support the National Pipeline Mapping System (NPMS) submittal process. Gulf can also provide support for gas and liquid pipeline compliance to meet the new regulations established by the Pipeline and Hazardous Material Safety Administration (PHMSA). As part of the process, Gulf will develop and support data dictionary files, collect accurate data in the field, create and maintain GIS databases, review and digitize archive data, and deliver a complete Submittal Support package.

Perform detailed documentation of MAOP determinations executed by experienced industry engineers.
Prepare detailed Hydrostatic Pressure Test Plans.
Review relevant material and system data to perform a detailed Engineering Critical Assessment (ECA).
Perform detailed pipeline engineering when pipeline replacement is required.
Carry out systematic and repeatable Class Location Studies documenting the methodology used.
Perform systematic and repeatable HCA and MCA Studies documenting the methodology used.
Assist in revising and updating Integrity Management Programs.
Assist in assessing and updating relevant risk factors for Integrity Management Programs.
Organize Document Management Systems, CADD, and systemwide GIS Databases.
Perform pipeline engineering to make pipeline segments and pig traps compatible with in-line inspection tools.
Review and assist in the implementation of leak detection systems.
Perform AGM Surveys, PIG Tracking and Dig Stacking.
