Daniel Hernandez Trejo – Managing Director, LATAM
Daniel Hernandez Trejo is Gulf’s Managing Director for the LATAM region, overseeing operations and development of new business in Mexico and Latin America. Daniel brings experience in renewables, energy and oil & gas industries; having served in diverse technical roles for both EPC Companies and Owner-Operators, most recently as Director of Engineering and Construction at Nextera Energy. Daniel has held roles in engineering, construction and commissioning management, project management and energy asset operations; delivering world-class projects in diverse locations around the world, including the US, Mexico, South America, Asia, and Australia. Daniel holds a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, and is a registered Professional Engineer. Daniel is multicultural and driven individual, passionate about building and leading high-performing teams to deliver solutions to our client’s most challenging projects.
Daniel Zuluaga – Director, Business Development and Operations
As Country Manager of Summum Projects Mexico for the last seven years, Daniel has led a team of professionals specializing in engineering services and consultancy within the energy and oil & gas sectors. Daniel now continues to provide his leadership to the Summum team and provide our Client’s in Mexico and LATAM with excellence in service. With 27 years of experience in the industry, Daniel has been instrumental in steering the company though world class projects in Mexico and abroad. Daniel’s career spans numerous countries, with project execution in Colombia, United States, Italy, Taiwan, and Mexico. His previous roles include Project Manager at Technip Energies, where he held various positions over 19 years. Daniel is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) and holds an Executive MBA from Universidad de los Andes, Bogotá. He graduated with a degree in Electronic Engineering from Pontificia Universidad Javeriana, Bogotá. Fluent in Spanish, English, Italian, and Portuguese, Daniel brings a wealth of global experience and a commitment to excellence in all his professional endeavors.
