The Gator Express Pipeline project consisted of two 42” pipelines approximately 26.8 miles and designed for up to 2 Bcf per day of natural gas. The purpose of this project was to supply interstate pipeline quality natural gas to the Venture Global LNG Terminal located in Plaquemines Parish, Louisiana.
Gulf’s Engineering and Design included HDD in shallow water, DirectPipe crossing at the LNG terminal entrance, pipe bridge over levee, SCADA, and cathodic protection systems. In addition, Gulf was also responsible for managing design interfaces and coordination with natural gas shippers and the Client’s Land and Regulatory/Permitting teams.
