Location: Texas (Southwest Region)
The Grand Prix Pipeline project consisted of approximately 400 miles of 24” in diameter pipeline transporting up to 550,000 barrels per day of Y-grade NGL, 3-pipeline laterals, 27 mainline valve sites, 4-meter stations and 7 pump station sites. The origination point for this pipeline started near the Permian Basin and ended near Dallas, Texas. From Dallas this pipeline connected to another pipeline that measured 30” in diameter to bring product to Targa facilities in Mt. Belvieu, Texas. Gulf Companies provided engineering, design, procurement and subcontract services for detailed design and construction management, including inspection services during construction. Subcontract services included civil survey, HCA analysis, and geotechnical investigations.
