The Hearne to Taylor Pipeline project was designed to expand fuel supply for the fast-growing Central Texas population. Gulf Companies performed the EPCM services for a multi-product pipeline and storage system. To achieve this expansion, Gulf assisted in designing, procuring, and constructing, a truck loading rack with blending, two storage terminals, an approximately sixty-eight mile 12-inch common carrier pipeline from a greenfield products terminal in Hearne, TX to a greenfield products terminal located in Taylor, TX.
Gulf also assisted with both the Hearne and Taylor Terminals. Together, these two terminals have a total of thirteen tanks that consist of an approximate combined capacity of 940,000 bbls of storage, metering, and sampling.
