Kent Wilfur

As President and CEO of Gulf Companies, Kent sets the strategic direction for Gulf, leads the efforts of Gulf’s Senior Management team in delivering exceptional service to Gulf’s clients, and is responsible for ensuring Gulf is an employer of choice by developing an inclusive and dynamic culture for Gulf employees. Kent has over 33 years of industry experience in various facets of project development, project delivery, and supply chain. He has previously held senior management roles at TC Energy and Enbridge leading large complex teams in the successful delivery of project goals. Kent is a board member of IPLOCA and a member of the INGAA Foundation. He is a graduate of The University of British Columbia with a Bachelor of Applied Science in Mechanical Engineering and The Richard Ivey School of Business (University of Western Ontario) with a Master of Business Administration.

Karey Cox, Chief Financial Officer

Karey Cox

Karey Cox is the Sr. Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Gulf Companies. With over 25 years of experience, Karey has successfully filled the role of Controller before being named to the position of Chief Financial Officer. Karey has been with Gulf since 2011, overseeing the company’s accounting operations, including financial reporting, treasury, tax, and compliance. Additionally, she leads the human resources and information technology departments. Prior to joining the Gulf family, Karey was Group Controller at Southwest Water Company. Along with corporate experience in the energy, automotive, water and wastewater industries, Karey brings public accounting experience from her time spent at Ernst & Young, LLP. With her wide range of knowledge and experience in Finance and Accounting functions across the organization, Karey guides a team unit focused on providing effective support and counsel in Financial Reporting, Accounting Research, Tax, Treasury, and Risk Management. Karey is a Certified Public Accountant and holds a Master of Science degree in Finance and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from Texas A&M University.

Senior Vice President of Operations

Bill Olson

Bill Olson is the Senior Vice President of Operations of Gulf Companies, where he oversees Gulf’s International Operations. Bill brings 47 years of experience in the energy sector, beginning in nuclear power before transitioning to the oil and gas industry in 1981. His unique oil and gas experience spans more than two dozen countries across five continents. He is a member of multiple pipeline industry professional organizations, including the ASME B31 Pressure Piping Standards Committee, where he is serving his 3rd term as Chair of the B31.4 Section Committee for liquid and slurry pipelines. He graduated in 1978 from Texas A&M University, with a bachelor’s degree in Radiation Protection Engineering from the College of Nuclear Engineering. He is a licensed Professional Engineer in the state of Texas. Bill is currently participating in industry efforts to enhance technical guidance in the CCS sector via improvements in standards and practices for design, construction and operations of CO2 transport systems, via his associations within ASME, API, PRCI and IPLOCA.

Vice President of Operations

Jared Ciarella

Jared Ciarella is the Vice President of U.S. Operations at Gulf Companies, where he leads strategy and execution for the company’s domestic project portfolio and focuses on optimizing operational performance and strategic alignment as the business continues to grow across pipeline, midstream, and broader energy infrastructure work. With more than 20 years of industry experience—including 12 years with Gulf—Jared began his career delivering major waterline projects before shifting to energy-focused infrastructure supporting liquid and gas systems. Over his tenure, he has held progressively senior leadership roles, including Project Manager, Director of Engineering Services, and Senior Director of Project Management, building a track record of leading multi-discipline engineering and execution teams across complex programs. As Vice President of Operations, Jared oversees the Operations organization, including Project Management, Engineering & Design, Geospatial Services, Project Services, Procurement Services, and Proposal Development—providing portfolio-level oversight and guidance for projects in flight while supporting strategic growth through existing client relationships and new industry partnerships. Jared is a 2005 graduate of Texas A&M University with a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering.

Vice President of Field Services

Monty Collins

As the Vice President of Field Services, Monty’s primary focus is on the leadership and development of the field services operations providing industry-leading field execution and project administration. Monty is an accomplished leader with over 35 years of expertise in the energy sector, spanning twenty years with senior execution responsibilities with Owner-Operators and ten years in executive leadership roles with service providers. He has a proven track record in managing all phases of Capital and O&M projects, from Pre-FEED origination and regulatory filings to execution, in-service, and closeout. Monty is adept at business development, fostering strategic collaborations and efficiencies across business lines to drive growth in the U.S. and Canada. He is a recognized industry expert in all facets of project execution, with experience serving as an expert witness in legal and regulatory proceedings in support of client’s business needs. He has an extensive background in route development, regulatory support, capital budgeting, and asset development, ensuring efficient and compliant project execution. He is a graduate of the University of Louisiana Monroe (ULM) with a Bachelor of Science in Construction Technologies and Our Lady of the Lake University (OLLU) with a Master of Business Administration.
